The Department of IPE was established at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) in 2005. IPE plays a pivotal role in optimizing systems, production and operations, shaping the future of manufacturing, and driving technological advancements that impact various industries like ready-made garments, electronics, manufacturing, footwear, cement, food and beverage, packaging etc.

Our department has a rich history of excellence in education, research, and innovation, and I am committed to building on this strong foundation. The department of IPE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs like Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Production Engineering, Master of Science in Industrial & Production Engineering, Master of Engineering in Industrial & Production Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial & Production Engineering. Our commitment is to provide our students a top-tier education that will enable them knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the dynamic field of IPE. We nurture a culture of innovation and exploration, supporting the research endeavors of both faculty and students. In order to tackle global challenges, we are committed to encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration both inside and beyond the department, including in research organizations, other academic institutions, and the industry.

The success of our department is primarily due to the hard work and dedication of our faculties, staff, and students. To accomplish our vision and mission, I am excited to work closely with our faculty, staff, and students.
